Encouraging Decision from the US Supreme Court on Racial Injustice

In a 7-2 decision written by Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the US Supreme Court struck down a conviction for murder of a Mississippi man on the grounds that the prosecutor had racially selected the jury excluding Afro-American jurors.

It was Curtis Flowers’ sixth trial for that offence and he has spent 22 years on death row. Surely, Mississippi will accept the inevitable and not hold another trial.
