A story of injustice from 1890s Darwin comes with a collection of amazing drawings. Charlie Flannigan, the first person to be executed in the Northern Territory, and a talented jockey and stockman, in his ten months on death row, made a number of amazing drawings.
The drawings, recently discovered by chance, are being exhibited at the Library and Archives in Darwin: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2021/apr/19/i-feel-honoured-i-can-help-him-tell-his-story-the-death-row-drawings-of-charlie-flannigan?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other.
